What is GHK-Cu?

GHK-Cu is a naturally occurring copper-binding tripeptide (glycyl-L-histidyl-L-lysine) complexed with copper(II). It is widely studied in dermatological and extracellular-matrix research for its interaction with collagen and metalloproteinase pathways.

Supplied as a deep blue lyophilised powder. Highly hygroscopic — reconstitute promptly after opening and protect from light.

GHK-Cu reconstitution reference

Reconstitute with bacteriostatic water. The table shows the concentration and syringe volume produced by common dilutions of a 50mg vial, for reference when preparing research stock solutions.

Units measured on a standard U-100 insulin syringe (100 units = 1 ml). For other vial sizes use the peptide reconstitution calculator.

Storage & handling

Before reconstitution
Store lyophilised at −20 °C, protected from light. Stable for 24 months or longer in the sealed vial.
After reconstitution
Store at 2–8 °C and use within 28 days. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles; aliquot where possible.

Frequently asked questions

Is GHK-Cu third-party tested?

Yes. Every batch is tested by an independent laboratory for HPLC purity and mass-spectrometry identity. The certificate for the batch you receive is linked on this page before you buy — no account needed.

How should I reconstitute GHK-Cu?

Add bacteriostatic water slowly down the inside wall of the vial, aimed away from the powder, then swirl gently until clear. Never shake. Use the reconstitution calculator to work out the volume for your target concentration.

How long does GHK-Cu last once reconstituted?

Refrigerated at 2–8 °C and protected from light, a reconstituted vial is generally used within 28 days. Unopened lyophilised powder stored at −20 °C is stable far longer.

How quickly does it ship?

Orders placed before 3pm on a working day are dispatched the same day by Royal Mail 24h tracked. EU orders go by DPD, typically 3–5 working days.
